I got the Higher Education Degree at “Enrique José Varona” Higher Pedagogical University in Cuba in July, 2004.
I got the MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) with Merit at Westminster University, London. UK in July, 2008.

Present position: I teach English language at the Faculty Calixto Garcia, from the Medical Sciences University of Havana, located in Havana city, Cuba.

Professional experience:
I have been working at “Enrique José Varona” Pedagogical University since September, 2004, when I graduated as an English teacher trainer. Since that time I have been an English teacher trainer, obtaining excellent results at the end of each course.

During the course 2010-2011 I have been teaching English to 3rd year foreign University students who study Medicine at the Faculty Calixto Garcia from the Medical Sciences University of Havana.

Major achievements:
I won the Trinity College London Teacher Trainer Conference Scholarship 2009 in order to finance my participation in the Annual International IATEFL Conference and Exhibition, in Harrogate, UK, 7-11 April 2010.

FURTHER INFORMATION
I wrote a conference about the importance of studying English in the medicine’s career and how to increase the motivation and interest in it. Now days it is part of the program of the English subject.

At the same time, I was a member of a group of experts who worked in the design of an educative software of English, for the formation of Latino American students who will be doctors in the future times. It was achieved in the Informatics Science University. The creation of this software is very important because it increases the interactivity, efficiently, the motivation and interest in the teaching-learning process of the English language in semi presence contexts. This software will be a great help for the education in other countries.
I have worked as adviser of some students from different years of the career, concerning the methodological, scientific and research aspects and also during the teaching-learning process.
I have worked as adviser of different Term paper and Diploma paper of students from the Higher Pedagogical University “Enrique Jose Varona”
I have worked in the design of the English language program for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of the career, preparing methodological materials, that will contribute to the development of the program in general terms and also a workbook for each unit, that will be used for the students and teachers.

I organized and taught a methodological activity called “The structure of a foreign language lesson” for the teachers in my department.

I have been a member of the jury of the Students Scientific Events.
I studied French Language in the school called Alianza Francesa in Havana City, Cuba, with excellent results.
I studied a post grade in Methodology Theory and Practice at the Pedagogical Institute ¨Enrique José Varona¨, obtaining excellent results.

I studied also a post grade in ICT at the same Institution.

I have written some articles which have been published by Cuban edition and online magazines and educational websites. There are some examples below.
